Youth Summer Camp 2019
Join us for the Enlightened Theatrics 2019 Youth Summer Camp, featuring scenes and musical numbers from Honk Jr! Keeping with our season theme of “A Celebration of Self-Acceptance”, join Ugly on a journey of self-discovery as he outwits a hungry cat and meets a whole flock of unique creatures, eventually realizing that maybe “different” is not such a bad thing to be.
In this camp, students will spend 5 days learning about the fundamentals of musical theatre: acting, singing, and dancing. On the final day of camp, there will be a short open recital for friends and family on the stage at Salem’s Historic Grand Theatre!
August 5th through 9th, from 10am to 2pm
Recital on August 9th at 6pm

Q: What should my student wear to camp each day?
A: Comfortable clothes, such as athletic wear, that are easy to move in and close toed tennis shoes. If your student has dance shows (jazz flats, sneakers, character shoes) they may wear those instead. Please make sure all clothing covers the body, even when dancing, lifting arms above your head, etc. Students with long hair should bring something to tie their hair up with.
Q: Will lunch be provided?
A: A full lunch will not be provided, but some light snacks will. Students will fill out an allergy/dietary restrictions form prior to the start of camp. Students are also welcome to bring some of their own snacks to eat on breaks.
